We recently took part in AeroDef India through our reseller Sarto Electro, who brought InertOn and MST samples to their booth on the show floor. AeroDef India brings together the country's aerospace and defense manufacturing community, defense primes, component suppliers, and the public-sector programs driving India's push toward self-reliant production. It's a focused venue, aimed squarely at the people building and sourcing advanced manufacturing capability for the sector.
That made it a strong fit for extending our presence in the region. Backed by a government-led push for self-reliant manufacturing, India has become one of the fastest-growing aerospace and defense markets in the world, and as global aerospace companies expand their production bases and supply chains to the country, India is establishing itself as a central hub for the future of aerospace manufacturing. This leads to rising demand for advanced additive manufacturing that can produce large aerospace components more flexibly and economically, which is exactly where MST fits. Demonstrating our chamber-free laser-wire DED gave engineers and program leads a direct look into how MST enables chamber-quality metal parts at scale.
During the event, we connected with national defense research organizations, divisions of global aerospace primes and their Indian joint ventures, and established domestic aerospace manufacturers and suppliers, a cross-section that tracks closely with where large-scale metal additive manufacturing can make the most difference. The conversations gave us a clear sense of the demand for chamber-free laser-wire DED across India's aerospace base.
